He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Halic and Mary Ercelle Phipps (Davis); his wife Doris Jeanette Beckes; and his siblings, Odus Leon Phipps, Arthur Halic Phipps, Jr., Celeste Imogene Whaley, Christene Iona Canfield, Barbara Zae Swoap and Audry Joan Henning.
He is survived by: his children, Glenna Gayle Smith of Oklahoma City, Paul Phipps (Charity) of Rush Springs, Brian Phipps (Carol) of Marlow and Michael Phipps (Melissa) of Rush Springs; and his grandchildren, Micah, Caleb, Malachi, Faith, Whittney, Lane, Cole, Joshua, Zachery, Mason, Jacob, Samuel, Blake, Marley, Sully, Grace, Tripp and Numerous. He is also survived by Numerous Nieces and Nephews.
