He was predeceased by: his parents, William Earl Jones and Helen Pierce; his children, Mary Helen Cooper, Ronda Bartholomew, Becky and Rodney Ray Jones; and his granddaughter Lissa Woody.
He is survived by: his spouse Besty Ann Jones; his daughter Marla Woody; and his grandchildren, John-Paul, Jennifer, Kimberly, Matthew, Amanda, Brittany, Mitchell, Courtney, Tanner and Ashlee. He is also survived by 29 great-grandchildren.
