He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Maxie Lois (Besherse) and Albert Rayburn Boswell; his daughter Francis Boswell; and his siblings, Patsy Christian, Kenneth Boswell, David Boswell, Ann Farris, Betty Boswell and Bobby Boswell. He was also cherished by four stepchildren.
