He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Willie Shipley and Helen Catherine Shipley (Batt); and his siblings, Susan Moberg, Frances Shipley and Robert Shipley.
He is survived by: his brother Marvin; his sister-in-law Patricia Shipley of Chickasha; his brother William Shipley of Marlow; and his children, Michael Shipley (Stephanie) of Chickasha, Charles Shipley of Chickasha, James Thomas of Guthrie, Joseph Shipley of Marlow, Kimberly Thomas of Tuttle and Kristian Dobry (Brent) of Cement. He is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren; and other extended family and friends.
