He was predeceased by: his parents, Hoyt Walter Smith and Thelma Carlene Booher Smith; his wife Nancy Woody of Virginia; and his brother Michael Smith To. He is survived by: his son Chris Smith (Michelle); his grandchildren, Leslie, Justin, Katilyn and Krysaleigh; his siblings, Terry Smith, Sandra Sitton and Rhonda LaBarre; and his close friend Tammy.
