He was predeceased by: his father Clyde Franklin. He is survived by: his mother Geneva Hobbs (Sweat); his wife Debra Hobbs; his children, Michael Hobbs (June) of Cement, Roy Hobbs of Rush Springs, Amanda Hobbs, Brandy Teague (Gary) of Bridge Creek and Cassie Chatterton of Duncan; his grandchildren, Nathan, Cody, Bailey, Summer, Austin, Daniel and Orion; his great grandchild Bryanna Whan; and his sister Sandra Stepp (James) of Hinton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
