With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Buford Boswell of Rush Springs, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 17, 2025 at the age of 87. He was predeceased by: his parents, Trammell Boswell and Cleo Boswell (Williams); his son Rusty Boswell; and his siblings, Johnny Boswell, Joe Boswell and Joyce Janke.
He is survived by: his wife Krin Boswell; his daughter Cindy; his son-in-law Gary Hoffman of Chickasha, OK; his son Dusty; his daughters-in-law, Jayne Boswell of Edmond, OK and Tena Boswell of Ninnekah, OK; his stepchildren, Brant Bristow (Abby) of Rush Springs, OK, Donnie Warren (Annette) of Broken Arrow, OK and Ronnie Warren (Debbie) of Tyler, TX; his grandchildren, Shelby Bayless (Val) of San Diego, CA, Kristin Kayne (David) of Amber, OK, Trent Hoffman of Chickasha, OK, Russell Boswell Jr. (Lisa) of Friend, OK, Sadie Boswell of Edmond, OK, Bobby Bristow of Rush Springs, OK, Scott Warren (Lindsey) of Lewisville, TX, Jessica Warren of Tyler, TX, Kristin Penny (Luke) of Tyler, TX and Kyle Warren of Tulsa, OK; and his sister Lawanna Jackson. He is also survived by his 12 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sevier Funeral Home (702 W Chickasha Ave, Chickasha, OK 73018). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sevier Funeral Home Chapel (702 W Chickasha Ave, Chickasha, OK 73018).
