He is survived by: his children, Michael Townsend (Cheryl) of Rush Springs and Pam Elam (Scott) of Moore; and his grandchildren, Matthew (Amanda), Bryce (Frankee), Erik, James (Elizabeth), Joanne (Mitch) and Dakota (Kristen). He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
