He was predeceased by: his parents, Armester Joseph Bowen and Mary Elizabeth Bowen (Davis); his son Travis Gregory Bowen; and his siblings, J. V. Bowen, Odis Bowen, Clovis Bowen, Roy Bowen, Pauline Gibson, Veda Bowen, Lola Davis and Elma Christopher.
He is survived by: his wife Vera Johnston; his son Brian Bowen of Rufe, OK; and his grandchildren, Drew Bowen, Abby Smith (Hunter), Beth Bowen and Benny Bowen.
