He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Otis Bridges, Sr. and Anna Mason Bridges; and his son Chad Bridges. He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Brandon Bridges of Fort Smith and Melynda Rogers (Tres) of Roland; his grandchildren, Liam Rogers, Micaela Rogers and Marissa Rogers; his mother-in-law Sue Stormes; and his cousin Don Bridges.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Mel's honor to The Fort Smith Boys Home 5904 Zero St in Fort Smith, Arkansas as this mission was dear to his heart.
