He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Wilson and Ethel Alice Cowart (Sitton); and his brother Paul Cowart. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Cowart of Roland, Oklahoma; his daughters, Crystal Hanson (Orvin) of Marietta and Lynette Negrete (Mondo) of Highland, California; his stepchildren, Melissa Hampton of Driggs, Arkansas, Erik Griffin of Roland and Michael Hice of Driggs, Arkansas; his siblings, Rodney Cowart (Janiece) of Fort Smith and Dorothy Ludwick of Paris; and his sister-in-law Lyn Cowart of Burlington, Kansas. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
