He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Mills (Rose); his parents, John Mills and Edna Mills (VanBrunt); and his siblings, Shelby Brooks, Judy Isenour, Janice Rofkahr, Johnny and Dale Mills.

He is survived by: his children, Cassandra Ingle of Roland, Danny Mills Jr. of Greenwood, Jacob Mills of Greenwood and Trevon Greenwood of Bentonville; and his siblings, Della Goins of Witcherville, Yvone Guise of Ratcliff, Jeryl Mills of Uniontown and David Mills of Bonanza.
