He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. James Patrick Kirk and Ila Samantha Ford Kirk; his wife Linda Joyce McClure; his son George Matthew Kirk, Jr.; and his brother Jimmy Leon Kirk.
He is survived by: his son Timothy Lynn Kirk of Roff; his sisters, Ella Ross of Roff, Mary Brown of Roff and Susan Nell Householder of Paris, TX; and his grandchildren, Dustin Kirk, Ashley Utley, Julie Pennington, Cheyenne Kirk and Samantha Kirk. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; and many friends and family.
