He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Albert Williams (Bill) and Beatrice Ivey Williams (Brown); his wife Lovella Johnson (Peggy); his son Forrest Albert Williams; and his sister Wanda Jo Richardson.

He is survived by: his children, Cindy Williams Walkowski (Joe) and Mark Williams (Lisa); his grandchildren, Whitney Gdanski (David), Taylor Jennings (Nick), Blaire Henderson (Wacey), Lauren Williams, Jacob Williams and Gunnar Williams; and his great grandchildren, Joel David Gdanski, Knox, Liam Jennings, Conner Williams and Saige Henderson.
