He was predeceased by: his parents, Larry Rains and Betty Rains (Holland); his brother Dennis Rains; and his niece Krislynn "Sissy" Younce. He is survived by: his children, Allen "Jo" (Angelica) of Meno, Skylor Jacob "Jake" (Jazmyne) of Ames, Wyatt Jace and Payton Elizabeth; his wife Lacey Nightingale; his siblings, Vickie Boehs (Shawn) of Ringwood, Jerry Sandoval (Lisa) of Enid, Tammie Unruh (Jerry) of Ringwood and Suelynn Webber (Leland) of Ringwood; his in-laws, Ralph Nightingale (Donna) and Dalton Nightingale (Tricia); and his nieces and nephews, Kassi, Val, Shay, Corina, Tori, Kaylynn, Kenni, Kaleb, Dillon, Shiann, Kyle, Watson and Walker.
Memorial contributions in Russ name may be made to the Mercy Health Foundation c/o Colletta Cancer Center with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
