With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lynette Major of Ringwood, Oklahoma, born in Fairview, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 22, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lynn Shafer and Juanita Shafer. She is survived by: her son Leon Major; her husband Willy; her great grandchild Destiny Salinia; her sister Betty Moody; her son Ronald Major (Debbie); her daughter-in-law Joy Major; her grandchildren, Marion Major, Ronald Major II, Shawnna Salinia and Cory Major; and her great grandchildren, Justin Mitchell, Shawnn Salinia, Isaac Major, Chloe Major and Shelby Major. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Lanman Funeral Home - Helena (309 4th St, Helena, OK 73741). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 28th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Ringwood New Beginnings Wesleyan Church (615 N Main St, Ringwood, OK 73768).
In lieu of flowers Lynette's family suggests memorials be made to Ringwood Sports Boosters or Crossroads Community Church Building Fund through the funeral home.
