He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark "Mike" Burgess and Iola Burgess (Plumley); and his siblings, Jewel, Maggie, Joyce, William and Mark Burgess.
He is survived by: his significant other Shirley Ann Burgess (Willliams); his sons, Curtis Burgess Jr. (Kim) of Red Rock and Willie Burgess (D'Ann) of Red Rock; his sisters, Bonita Diedrich (JC) of Marshall, Oklahoma and Jacqueline Cardenas of Guthrie; his grandchildren, Courtney Burgess, Tiffany Burgess and Ashley Rice; and his great grandchildren, Larissa, Nathan, Kaidence Jefferson and Aryanna Burgess. He is also survived by great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
