He was predeceased by: his father Erwin Earl Ratliff; his son Bobby Gene Ratliff, Jr.; and his granddaughter Brandi Lane. He is survived by: his mother Helen Josephine Domeny Ratliff; his wife Bessie; his daughters, Jan (Rickey Burk) and Cindy (Darrin Lane); and his sister Carolyn Davis (Tom) of Perry. He is also survived by four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
