She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Jason Uzzel and Arvada Frances Redwine Uzzel; her husband C. Kirkes; her siblings, Carl Uzzel and Evelyn Clark; and her siblings-in-law, Ed Whitworth, Greely, John, Grady, Crockett Kirkes, Claudine Burns and Louise Medders.
She is survived by: her children, Leslie Robertson (Joe Frank) of Red Oak, Michael Kirkes (Katha) of Tomball and Kelly Johnson (Tony) of Buffalo Valley; her sister Phyllis Whitworth of Red Oak; her grandchildren, Kristina Jo Martin (Joe) of Red Oak, Waylon Kirkes (Robin) of Talihina, Bradley Kirkes (Thonkla) of Talihina, Joshua McGee (Heather) of Albion, Eric Robertson (Valerie) of Rattan and Kacee Butcher (Kyle) of Norman; her great grandchildren, Chase Martin, Peyton Kirkes, Clijah Kirkes, Kymber Kirkes, Quaid McGee, Zander Blevins, Bryce McGee and Kaden McGee; and her nephews, Dane Clark of Ft. Smith and Barry Whitworth (Felicia) of Ada. She is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, other family, and a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Red Oak Library Fund.
