He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Black (Jeff) and Emma Black (Hodge); and his brother Larry Black. He is survived by: his wife Becky; his daughter Katy; his son-in-law Seth Rogers of Pocola; his grandchildren, Emma and John Rogers of Pocola; his sister Phyllis; his brother-in-law Richard Dixon of Haileyville; and his mother-in-law Jane Stevens of Hartshorne. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Waldrop Funeral Home (1208 OK-2, Wilburton, OK 74578). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Red Oak (301 N Main St, Red Oak, OK 74563).
