He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Memphis Gordan; his wife Barbara Diann McDaniel (Thurman); his children, Ernest Memphis McDaniel, Jr. (Heather) of Lawton, OK, Belinda Diann Watrous (Chuck) of Brandon, MS, Sharon Elizabeth Janoe (Chris) of Rattan, OK and Jonathan Bryan McDaniel (Jessica) of Rattan, OK; his grandchildren, Brittany Diann Clarke (Austin), Brianna Dawn Crowe (Bobby), Jacob Roland Watrous, Brason Layne Janoe, Aundrea Marie McDaniel, Benjamin Bryan Janoe, Jonathan Cole McDaniel and Haley Grace McDaniel; his brother Howard McDaniel (Pat) of Rockmart, GA; his sister-in-law Margie Lawrence; and his nephew Tony Lawrence. He was also cherished by several other nieces and nephews.
