He is survived by: his wife Michele Eakins; his children, Jerred Eakins, Jonathan Eakins of Texas, Joshua Eakins of Omaha, NE and Chelcie Eakins of Omaha, NE; his mother Judy Schroeder (Earl) of Council Bluffs, IA; his siblings, Theresa Gunia (Bob) of Nebraska, Pam Selig of Wisconsin and Mike Eakins (Angie) of Council Bluffs, IA; his stepchildren, Tinisha Simon (Guy) of Ratliff City, Triston Barnett, Nicole Barnett, Roger Griffin of New York, Ralph Pike and Alice Pike of Sidney, NE; and his grandchild Numerous. He is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
