He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Santiago Marin and Isidra Marin; his wife Sara E. Marin; his children, Antonio Marin of Randlett, Jimmy Marin of Devol, Alex Marin of Randlett and Melissa Dominguez of Burkburnett; his children-in-law, Jose Dominguez, Laura Mcneese, Becca Marin and Kylee Jackson; his stepsons, Rolando Alvarado, Francisco Alvarado, Mel Alvarado and Jose Alvarado; and his siblings, Hilario, Sergio, Heriberto Marin, Amelia and Leticia. He was also cherished by 23 grandchildren.
