He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bray and Mattie Beard Bray; his son Dale Bray; his son-in-law Tommy Atkins; his stepmother Hettie Bray; his siblings, Lizzie Lewallen (Olen), Levi, Arvil and Cecil; and his stepsiblings, Euleta Adcock, Retha Adcock, Marie Williams and Stanley Childers.
He is survived by: his wife Radah Bray; his children, Carolyn Atkins of McAlester and Johnny Bray (Beth) of Whitefield; his sisters, Joyce Carr (Lloyd) and Iva Coffman; his sister-in-law Guzella Bray; his grandchildren, Misti Denton (Kevin) of Park Hill, OK, Roger Atkins (Jarah) of McAlester, OK, Brooke Reasnor (Tayler) of Eufaula, OK, Kent Bray (Alex) of Tulsa, OK and Candice Henson (Jake) of Whitefield, OK.; and his great grandchildren, Kaleb, Brantley Denton, Brooklynn Weiher, Hadley, Bowen Atkins, Bret, Kate Burdick, Roman Stubblefield, Kalahan Henson, Evangeline and Holden Bray.
