He was predeceased by: his parents, F. M. "Bat" and Dollie Spears; and his great grandchild McKenzie Spears. He is survived by: his sons, Chris Spears (Melvena) of Russellville and James Spears of Brooken; his grandchildren, Kenton, Nikki Spears of Holdenville, Hailey Kennedy, Colton of McAlester and Jake Spears of Russellville; and his great grandchildren, Carson and Newt. He is also survived by numerous cousins and other relatives.
