She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. Dudley Chew, Sr.; her parents, Roy T. Riley and Goldie M. Friend Riley; her sons, Raymond Chew, Sammy L. Chew and Daniel M. Chew; and her siblings, Donna Kay Bedsaul, Leroy Riley, Violet Huckleberry, Treva Clough, Flora Vowel, Elaine Jackson and Lessialee Dever.

She is survived by: her children, Frank Chew (Peggy) of Joplin, John Chew of Joplin, Jeff Chew (Rita) of Miami, Dudley Chew, Jr. (Judy) of Sacramento, Terry Chew (Melissa) of Anderson, Barbara Mullin of Joplin, Susan Edwards of Eugene, Jean Evans (Jim) of Quapaw and Kendra Seymour (Mike) of Grand Falls, Montana..

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mason-Woodard Chapel (3701 E 7th St, Joplin, MO 64801). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
