He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Weddel and Wanda Weddel (Stanley); and his wife Kathleen Weddel. He is survived by: his children, Yancy Weddel (Donna) of Quapaw, OK, Melacka Weddel of Quapaw, OK and Karla Weddel of Quapaw, OK; his brother Bill Weddel of Miami, OK; his grandchildren, Travis Greenfeather (Madeline), Chalee Ryle, Caitlyn Weddel and Emma Weddel; and his great grandchildren, Silas Ryle, Freyja Ryle, Emerly Carroll, Taryn Greenfeather and Mazie Greenfeather.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home & Cremation Service - Miami (1432 B St NW, Miami, OK 74354). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
