He was predeceased by: his parents, Gaylord Ward and Gladys Ward (Harper); his wife Carolyn Ward; and his sisters, Betty Cavnar and Bobbie Sue Powell.
He is survived by: his sons, Scott Ward (Pam) of Oklahoma City and Grant Ward (Lisa) of Byars; his sister Sallie Kennedy of Norman; his sisters-in-law, Arlene Kennedy of Maysville and JoAnn Huddleston of Dibble; and his grandchildren, Amanda Hogue (Brad) of Norman, Richard Ward of Purcell, Michelle Barnes (Brad) of Okc and Jeri Muncie (Ty) of Las Vegas.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Union Hill Baptist Church, 20441 Bryant Ave. Purcell, Ok 73080.
