With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lela Faye Dodds of Purcell, Oklahoma, born in Lindsay, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 25, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Ephram Ballard and Annie Leolia Ballard (Woodward); her husband John E. Dodds; and her siblings, Arlene McCown, Dorothy Miller, Alvin Ballard, Calvin Ballard and Roy Ballard.
She is survived by: her sons, John Dodds of Norman and Darrell Dodds of Oklahoma City; and her grandchildren, Dyndi Gibson, Jenny Maxwell, John Ehren Dodds, Sarah Jane Cornelison and Chey Loessberg.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Little's Chapel (127 S Canadian Ave, Purcell, OK 73080).
