James Robert Massie Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Robert Massie of Purcell, Oklahoma, who passed away on April 10, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Henry (Massie) and Lillie "Opal" Massie (White); his son Chad Massie; his siblings, Von Darrell Massie, Kaye Stoner and Ann Firestone; and his nephews, Jay Stoner and Marty Firestone.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his grandchildren, Miles and Morgan Massie of Duncan; and his siblings, Gwen Mines of Las Vegas, NV and Rocky Massie of Duncan.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Velma (100 Main St, Velma, OK 73491).
