He is survived by: his sons, Dewey Adair (Maria Beltrano Greaney), Charles Adair (Karen) and Mel Adair (Julie); his grandchildren, Chelsea Adair, Kathleen Greaney, Alexa Jo Adair and D. G. II; and his cousins, Dan Broughton (Ann), Jovan Hodges and Adriane Fox.
