Diane Abney Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Diane Abney of Purcell, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 27, 2023 at the age of 72. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Diane Abney to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl James and Annie Esther; her husband Jerry Abney; and her siblings, Roger Mitchell, Larry Mitchell, Carlene Claunch, Norvella Griffith and Marquita Webb.

She is survived by: her daughter Susan (Josie) of Moore; her grandsons, Joshua Smith of Stillwater and Nicholas Smith of Norman; and her siblings, Shirley Griffith and Aaron Mitchell of Wynnewood.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to the Oklahoma Dementia research foundation in honor of Diane.
