It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Lavoy Fielder of Purcell, Oklahoma, born in Wayne, Oklahoma, who passed away on October 2, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles H. Fielder and Ida Ethel Fielder (Lynn); his wives, Frances Louise Fielder and Norma Jean Fielder; his sisters, Joyce Rinehart and Maxine Rose; his son-in-law Michael Carpenter; and his stepson Ronnie Pierce.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lavonda Wood (Dale) of Wanette, Pamela High (Rick) of Springdale, AR, Karen Fielder of Norman and Sherri Hudgins (Ben IV) of Lake Jackson, TX; and his grandchildren, Lynda Shive (Craig), Don Wood (Jenny), Steve Wood, Kerry High (Genia), Jeremy High (Sarah Lara), Kristy Brown (Coby), Laurie High, Aaron Carpenter (Robin), Meghan Carpenter (Luke), Rachael Carpenter, Hailey Carpenter, Ben William Hudgins V and John Charles Hudgins. He is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren and 1 on the way; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other family and friends.
