It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Lee Brown (Purcell, Oklahoma), who passed away on December 24, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mike Bruno and Era Mae Bruno (Peery); and her siblings, Francis Lackey, Zona Smith, Bill "Chief" Bruno, Carl Bruno and Tom Bruno.
She is survived by: her husband Bill Brown; her daughter Dana Brown (Shawn Hoover) of Wanette; her granddaughter Autumn Brown (Gage Crook) of Wanette; her great grandchild GraceLynn Brown; her sons, Randy Scarberry of Seminole, OK, Ronnie Scarberry of Sallisaw, OK and Thomas Scarberry of Purcell, OK.; and her siblings, Leon Bruno (Veta), Anthony Bruno of Camp Verde, AZ and Mary Halterman of Tecumseh, OK..
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Little's Chapel (127 S Canadian Ave, Purcell, OK 73080). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at the Chappel Hill Cemetery.
