She was predeceased by: her parents, Vicente Marquez and Maria Luisa Najar. She is survived by: her husband Jorge Cortez; and her children, Itzel Alejandra "Allie" Cortez of Pryor and Jorge Cortez Jr. of Pryor. She is also survived by one grandson on the way; one brother; five sisters and numerous nieces, nephews and many other extended friends.
