It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Phillip Eugene Trogdon of Pryor, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 28, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Trogdon and Esther Trogdon; his sister Virginia; his grandson Trenton Purkey; his brother Dale Trogdon; and his brother-in-law Kenneth Sheats.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo Trogdon; his daughters, Teresa Stutzman (Curt) of Pryor, Brenda Cross (Doug) of Pryor and Diane Purkey (Chuck) of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; and his siblings, Johnny Trogdon of Pryor, Oklahoma, Joyce Walsh (J. D.) of Chouteau and Carolyn Sheats of Pryor, Oklahoma. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (110 N Ross St, Salina, OK 74365). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at the Graham Memorial Cemetery W Hwy (1664 NE 1st St, Pryor, OK 74361).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Salina First Baptist Church.
