It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Monroe Reese Sullivan (Pryor, Oklahoma), born in Wagoner, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 9, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos Monroe and Sarah Sullivan (Kitty); his in-laws, Wayne and Ann Hert; his brothers, James Sullivan and Ron Sullivan; and his grandson Mark Swinehart.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Hert; and his daughters, Cynthia Swinehart (Tim) and Melissa Wyatt (Donnie).
Monroe spent his free time going to garage sales in search of fishing rods to be donated to young people wanting to learn to fish. (He secretly did not like to fish).
