He was predeceased by: his father Jesse Monroe Elkins; and his grandparents, Golda Elkins, Roy Elkins, Dan and Iva Hammonds.
He is survived by: his mother Iva Dell Elkins (Hammonds) of Pryor, Oklahoma; his wife Linda; his sons, Jerry Elkins (Trisha Elkins) of Grove, James Elkins (Melissa) of Oxford, CT and Jesse Elkins (Gabby) of Pryor, Oklahoma; and his brother Jesse Elkins (Sherrie) of Ottumwa, IA. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
