He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Davis and Alta Davis (Nelson); his parents-in-law, Ray and Billye Gwartney; and his siblings, Emilee James, Maxine Stewart, Billy Davis, Charles Davis and Barbara Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Sherian; his children, Shonda Painter (Bruce) of Bentonville and Shane Davis (Sherrill) of Orlando, Florida; his grandchildren, Ashleigh Dewey (Charley) of Bentonville, Trevor Painter (Maggie) of Bentonville, Ethan Davis of San Diego and Ben Davis of Gentry, Arkansas; his great grandchildren, Drake Dewey of Bentonville, Arkansas, Beckett Dewey of Bentonville, Arkansas, Knox Dewey of Bentonville, Arkansas, Jack Painter of Bentonville, Arkansas and Beckham Painter of Bentonville, Arkansas; his sisters, Connie Barber (Kenneth) of Wagoner, Kay Buff (Robert Washam) and Terry Williams (Weyburn) of Kellyville, Oklahoma; and his sister-in-law Brenda Warren (Jerry) of Whitesboro. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
