Jeremy Levi Grooms was born on June 2, 1980 in Claremore, Oklahoma to parents Judy Lawana Rice and Gary Dale Grooms. He attended High school in Wagoner and graduated with the Class of 1998. He went on to graduate from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Construction Management. He began his career as a Project Manager in Telecommunications starting with Seneca Communications later bought by Mastec and on to SiteMaster and his last position held as a Project Manager with American Electric Power. He loved his job and was dedicated to setting goals and reaching them as planned no matter what and would not let anything, absolutely anything or anyone, get in the way of those. He had a get it done attitude which he utilized in a side business venture that he assisted his wife, Charity Grooms, in renovating homes and leasing them. He especially liked to paint.
He loved the outdoors. Especially fishing. His dreams were to retire and spend his days trout fishing on the White River with his wife Charity. They had looked forward to one day buying a home right on the river banks so they could walk into their yard and trout fish whenever they felt like it. He enjoyed the opportunity to teach his children Elsi and Jace how to fish. He also enjoyed taking his family to the mountains every spring break to go Skiing and was also an avid bowler and golfer. He was also a dedicated horticulturist. He kept avid notes on all his "girls" and what nutrients and soil they grew the best in and yielded the best "flower". Levi was dedicated to being the best at everything he attempted to do and would spend hours of his time researching and studying and taking notes to be the best at growing, golfing, fishing, skiing and at managing projects.
