We bid farewell to Irene Coblentz of Pryor, Oklahoma, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 24, 2025 at the age of 94. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Giles and Idella Giles (Boatright); her husbands, Wayne Fought and Lloyd Coblentz; her sister Helen Ackley; and her stepsons-in-law, Earl Troyer and Calvin Jantz.
She is survived by: her son Duane Fought (Barbara) of Pryor; her siblings, Tom Giles of Pryor, Melvina Karklin of Pryor and Esther Carter of New Mexico; her granddaughter Jimmie Lee Moody (Sean) of Pryor; her great grandchildren, Chelsey (Beau Beathard), Seth Stricklen, Shaye (Dillon Manchell), Kaci (Maddie Stricklen), Addison Moody and Cole Moody; her great great grandchildren, Aiden, Lexi, Brixey, Scarlet, Landon, Emersyn, Sophie and Paislee; and her children, Lydia Troyer, Betty Coblentz, Rudy (Shirley Coblentz), Paul (Reita Coblentz), Ervin (Rosella Coblentz), Bill (Liz Pankratz), Dave (Mary Jantz Kauffman) and Lloyd (Roselene Coblentz).
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Shipman's Funeral & Cremation Service (1204 NE 1st St, Pryor, OK 74361). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at the Graham Memorial Cemetery W Hwy (1664 NE 1st St, Pryor, OK 74361).
