He is survived by: his wife Flora Mae Mills; his daughters, Christal Dianne Adair and Angelia Gail Adair-Ross; his son-in-law Ewing Ross; his stepson Michael H. Ross (Jeanie Ross); his grandchildren, Heather Groom-Thrailkill, Emily Varshay, Chloe Varshay, Stevie Campbell, Michael Ross and Justin Ross; and his sister Norma Jean Patten. He is also survived by nieces and great-nephews.
