It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frenetta Asher Powell of Preston, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 14, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Christina Walker Asher Sr. (Walter Powell); her son Orlander Homer Petit Jr.; her father Freeman Issac Asher; her daughter Cheryl Ann Juniel; her grandson Orlander Yaphett; and her great grandchild Brianna Nichole.
She is survived by: her former husband Oscar Lee Jones; her daughter Christina Jones; her husband Walter Powell; and her siblings, Charles Asher of Phoenix, AZ, Doretha Lee and June Asher Moss. She is also survived by friends and relatives.
