He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Vaughn and Beulah Omega Vaughn (Marrs); his son Chuck Vaughn; and his sisters, Virginia Massey and Loeva.

He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Kirk; his children, Michael Vaughn, Melissa Beasley and Tressa Beasley; his grandchildren, Courtney Gilreath, Cooper Gilreath, Rebecca Moore, Michelle Harding, Stevie Vaughn, Hayden Vaughn, Trevor, Madyson, Lila, Autumn, Audrey and Aiden; and his nieces, Phyllis Bateman and Ramona Linkous. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
