He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sister Coni Lee (VanCuren); his brother-in-law Jim Hammersley; his nieces and nephews, Stephenie York (VanCuren), Kara VanCuren and Mick VanCuren; his grandchildren, Kaleb, Cameron, Matthew, Gerty, Devin and Gunner; his great grandchildren, Sawyer, Charlee and Jiraiya; his parents, Lee Roy VanCuren and Florence VanCuren-Kelley (Day); and his brothers, Johnny Lee VanCuren and Roy Allen VanCuren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Prague Housing Authority Community Center (607 Mitacek Ave, Prague, OK 74855).
