Samuel Burns Grissom Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Samuel Burns Grissom (Prague, Oklahoma), born in Purcell, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 20, 2020 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Grissom and Lehella Grissom (Butler); his parents-in-law, Charles and Inez Snyder; and his daughter Hollie Grissom.

He is survived by: his uncle District; his wife Joi Dell Snyder Grissom; his sons, Vic Grissom (Jayne) of Prague and Keith Grissom (Janet) of Seminole; his grandchildren, Miranda (Darin Winchester), Tyler (Katie Grissom), Stefanie Cooper, Amber (Keith McFerran), Jared (Candace Grissom) and Clint (Carmen Grissom); and his brothers, Roy Grissom, Jr. (Bettye) of Prague, OK and Les Grissom of Raytown, MO. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made in honor of Sam to the Grissom Family Agricultural Scholarship Fund which has been established at Vision Bank.
