He was predeceased by: his parents, Celestine "Bud" Simon and Maggie Simon (Stockwell); his children, Paul Edward "PJ" Simon Jr. and Lisa Barrett; his son-in-law Laurens "Shorty" Vanderstraeten; his grandson Clayton Douglas Robison; his great grandchild Aria Lucille Whitson; and his siblings, Luke Simon, Marvin Simon, Mike Simon, Henry Simon, Mark Simon and Edna Baldwin.
He is survived by: his wife Nelda Ann Simon; his children, Peter "Eugene" Simon, Tami Leann Vanderstraeten and Allen Wayne Simon; his grandchildren, Lynn Smith, Kenneth Simon, Lisa Mitchum, Alicia Wilson, Misty Barrett, Stella (Nicholas Whitson), Sandy Collins, Lillie Collins, Annette (Dakota Sparks) and Tina Simon; and his siblings, Bob (Barbara Simon), Joe (Ruth Simon), Mary Ann Mathis, Laura (Perry Beck) and Therese (Ray Norman). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
