She was predeceased by: her parents, George Brauer and Alma Brauer; her husband Earl Hand; her former husband Everette Hand; her son James Hand; and her siblings, Clara Brauer and William Brauer (Arlington). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to St. Jude's Research Hospital in memory of Helen Hand.
