He was predeceased by: his parents, John Francis Carter and Eula Mae Perry; and his stepbrother Rev. Berton Perry. He is survived by: his brother John Carter (Pam) of Madill; his close friend Laura Shimanek of Prague; his sister-in-law Sue Perry of Broken Arrow; his nieces, Kimberley Hoppers (Jed) and Katie Short (Scott); and his great-niece Abby Oblander.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in George's honor to the Shriner's Hospital.
