He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Harmon and Thelma Leota Mayfield (Tucker); his daughter Kyra Kay; and his brother Henry Harmon Mayfield, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Rod Mayfield (Kimberly) of Woodland, Ron Mayfield of Woodland, California, Robin Schwab of Woodland and Rona Bilbio of Orlando; the mother of his children Sharon Johnson-Mayfield; his siblings, Melvin Mayfield of Paden, John Mayfield (Betty) of Wellston, Louis Mayfield (Sylvia) of Wilmer, Alabama and Velma Beck (Tim) of Prague, Oklahoma.; and his close friend Tami Vanderstraeten.
